The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida’s planning and research services are designed to help make high-quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for the people of Northeast Florida.
We are the only health-planning organization to collect, analyze and warehouse real-time healthcare utilization data submitted by hospitals and nursing homes in our seven-county Northeast Florida region. We are also the only planning agency required to dedicate resources to collect community level health needs assessment data.
The Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida collaborates with regional hospital planners to conduct utilization studies and manage the Certificate of Need process for hospitals and nursing homes in the counties we serve.
