Known as an objective source of healthcare information for the community, the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida publishes information on local hospital and nursing home utilization, HMO enrollment and other healthcare utilization trends. We also produce and distribute consumer-oriented guides on topics such as managed care, nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

One of the most common sources of frustration that we hear from our stakeholders is the vast number of regional service areas across Northeast Florida that either over lap or create unnecessary service delivery barriers. How many times have you wondered which counties were in our service area? How many counties does our Metropolitan Service Areas (MSA) cover? Where do the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce boundaries end?

The Health Planning Council has pulled together several regional service area maps to help alleviate some of your frustration and confusion. Take a look at the beginning of a Repository of Regional Service Delivery Maps below.

This collection is still in “building mode”. If you know of a service area that we inadvertently missed, please contact us and we will be happy to add your suggestion to our map repository. Thank you for your continued support.
